The Python® can reach up to 50 mph (80 km/h).

How much compaction does the roller provide to the asphalt?
The roller applies a force of approximately 62 lbs/linear inch or 11 kg/linear cm, equivalent to a one-ton roller. The back-and-forth motion of the roller ensures thorough compaction, filling every crevice of the pothole.

What is the air pressure used to clean out the potholes?
The air compressor delivers up to 26 cubic feet per minute at 120 psi, providing sufficient air blast to clean water, rocks, dirt, and debris from the pothole.

Can the compressed air be used for other purposes?
An auxiliary airport can be used for machine cleaning and tire inflation.

How do I clean the Python® 5000 / Python® 5000+ at the end of the day?
The Python® comes equipped with a 15-gallon tank, allowing you to use an environmentally friendly chemical to hose down the hopper, belt, and tool assembly at the end of the day. It takes approximately 20 minutes to clean the unit, preparing it for the next day's operation.

Does the auger get clogged with asphalt?
The heavy-duty auger runs the entire machine length and is less prone to clogging. However, if a clog occurs, the auger is reversible, making it easy to clear any obstructions.

How is the temperature of the asphalt in the hopper controlled?
The asphalt is kept warm by redirecting exhaust gases around the double-walled hopper. A flapper valve controls the temperature by regulating exhaust flow into or out of the system.
